Gordy Peterson - Realtor®

Gordy moved to Annandale in 1973. He and his wife Marilyn wanted to raise their family on a lake, in a small town, with a great education system, and the opportunities of the metro area and St. Cloud nearby. They found these things and much more in Annandale. After spending many years helping and working closely with people as a teacher, high school counselor, athletic director, community ed director and coach, Gordy now finds the same enjoyment in selling real estate.

Getting to know his clients and helping them meet their needs is the most rewarding part of his work, he says. He values cooperation and teamwork, characteristics Oak Realty is built on, and says the best part about working on the Oak Team is the environment. He has lived on Lake John for over 31 years. For several years he and Marilyn owned a small gift shop in Annandale called the “Trolls Loft.” They have 3 children and now enjoy sharing their time, and the lake, with 5 grandsons.

Gordy is a past member of the Lions, Kiwanis and YMCA Y’s Men’s Club and has been an officer of the Lake John Association for many years. Gordy continues his work with young people and athletics in setting up tournaments for Region 5A of the State High School League. He also helps coordinate the AAA (Athletics, Academics, Arts) Award and Target Leadership Program.
