Lake John, at just under 400 acres in size and 28 feet at its deepest point, allows anglers to go after many of the same fish that neighboring Lake Sylvia has, but with a smaller, quieter fishing experience. Northern Pike, Walleye, and Largemouth Bass are not the only fish that anglers on Lake John are reeling in. Other fish in the lake include Black Bullhead, Bluegill, Brown Bullhead, Green Sunfish, Pumpkinseed, Yellow Bullhead and Yellow Perch.
